Gabby Young was huiverig voor samenwerking - De als operazangeres opgeleide Gabby Young werkt met haar achtkoppige band Other Animals aan de opvolger van We're All In This Together, het debuutalbum dat in 2008 verscheen op haar eigen platenlabel en twee jaar later opnieuw werd uitgebracht door World Connection Records. De verwachting is dat het tweede album in 2012 zal uitkomen. "Vroeger was ik een koppige vrouw die dacht dat ze alles zelf kon", vertelt Young. "Nu werk ik op alle vlakken samen, omdat ik heb ontdekt dat zodra je mensen toelaat het project sterker en completer wordt."

Gabby Young was reluctant to collaborate - Gabby Young and her eight-piece band Other Animals are working on the successor of We're All In This Together, the debut album that was released in 2008 on Young's own label and was re-released in 2010 by World Connection Records. The second album is scheduled to come out in 2012. "I used to be a stubborn woman who thought she could do everything by herself", Young says. "Now I'm all about collaboration, because the moment you're going to start letting people in it becomes a stronger, more rounded project."
